Due to some unavoidable reasons, the mutual fund ratings would not be uploaded on time this month. I am uploading the perl code which I use to generate my ratings. You need to unzip the stuff and run the following command (from the same folder):
This will generate an XLS file wherein you need to replace the text "XXXEQYYY" with a single "=" (double quotes removed for both the strings) in third and fourth sheets. The above example is for generating 7-year ratings on 1st of October 2013.
You will notice that I extract a lot of data from www.valueresearchonline.com without giving them any credit for it :-) They are doing a great job but somehow I am not satisfied with even their rating methodology. Hence this blog.
